ELECTRIC VEHICLE MOT

ELECTRIC VEHICLE MOT

The MOT is a basic safety check, checking specific parts of the car following a set of guidelines set out by the DVSA.

The MOT is designed to ensure the vehicle is in a roadworthy condition at the time of the test.

The MOT tester is not allowed to remove anything for the test. If a wheel bolt is missing, the car will fail the MOT. If a missing wheel bolt cannot be seen because the car has plastic wheel trims, it will pass. The same applies to every part of the car.

Additionally, the brake pads only have to have the slightest piece of material left to pass, but doesn't mean they will last the year.
